Malaika Arora makes a strong case for monochrome gingham this summer!

Just because it's low-key, it doesn't mean it's not impressive enough to make a red carpet statement with. And this we recently learnt from fashionista, Malaika Arora when we spotted her in a low-key yet beautiful monochrome number at an event lately. The actress was seen working a trend we thought had made an exit a while back, but clearly hasn't.
Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, the actress was seen working a monochromatic plaid jumpsuit which was cinched at the waist with a broad black belt, adding that extra oomph to her look. The otherwise casual look was then made 'red carpet appropriate' by way of a blazer which she later threw on. Malaika matched her outfit with a pair of killer black ankle-strap heels and finished off her look with a severe bun, smokey eyes and with a nice pop of red for her lips, thus making for a nice burst of colour to her monochrome look.
Malaika's outfit has definitely proved that gingham is here to stay and we couldn't be more glad about it. After all, the print makes for a rather sharp and smart look!
