Power dress, but playfully – Priyanka Chopra tells you how!

Priyanka Chopra is now one of the biggest names in the Hollywood biz. The actor-singer-producer-entrepreneur recently stepped out to attend the Women in the Work Summit, and she power dressed like the boss woman she is. But because all her streetwear and red carpet looks in the west are a joint baby of her stylist Mimi Cuttrell’s vision and her own unmissable swag, her power dressing is not the usual. It’s playful!

For the event, the actress chose a grey tweed Ralph & Russo skirt and blouse co-ord. While the pencil skirt ended just above her knees, it came with a tiny slit to add functionality. The matching peplum blouse had a Peter Pan collar, which was fashioned as a one-shouldered neck. Both the skirt and the blouse came with glittering stones as embellishments. She tied her away in a bun, swiped on mauve lipstick and put on a basic black pair of sunglasses. She added a hint of classy, with a pair of diamond hoop earrings by Chopard. Yet again, the actress chose a mini handbag instead of a functional sized one. ( Why would she? She has a team full of talented people, who carry her world along with her!)

But let’s take a moment to appreciate her Sergio Rossi embellished PVC slingbacks. Reminiscent of Cinderella’s glass slippers, it was quite fitting. After all, our Desi Girl is pretty much royalty!

Chopra’s sartorial sensibilities have been the talk of the town even when her name was only known in the homeland. But ever since Chopra shifted base to the West and made the Big Apple her second home and added Hollywood stylist Mimi Cuttrell as a permanent member in her entourage, her style directory has taken up a hike, notably
Chopra now donnes the best designer pieces from all over the world. Her style has become refined, sophisticated even. But that still hasn’t stopped for from taking fashion risks. This look is one such example. We loved the look from top to bottom. What do you think?
