An alumnus of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, India, Samant Chauhan has been a front-runner in the Indian fashion scene since as long as we can remember now. The designer hasn't just won awards for fabric development but also for his several design collections. Having worked and gained experience with the who's who in global fashion, Samant has proven time and again that he is the one to beat!

Haven had an incredible journey after debuting in 2006 at the India Fashion Week, Samant just showcased yet another gorgeous collection at the Delhi Times Lifestyle Week, and we're just all googly-eyed all over again. Presented by Sunar, the designer put out looks to love and the models took to the ramp in all finery and perfection, something that Samant masters in. The designer stuck with his white and ivory tones and use the fabrics as a canvas to create the divine. In luscious fabrics such as silks and organzas, the collection was dominated by embroidered detailing as also intricacy in craftsmanship. From high-low jackets to peplum to even fishtail hems and trains, the ramp was one on fire. The designer's minimal creations reeked of floral embroidery and Indian-inspired prints at their best. And the grand silhouettes balanced out the minimalism to perfection. Samant aptly let the fabrics he used be the hero of his collection.

Take a look at some of the pieces that took to Samant’s ramp this evening...

The models looked ethereal in their ensembles and only Samant could have pulled off minimalism the way he did.
