Shweta Bachchan Nanda or Gauri Khan: Who wore the gold gown better?

We brought to you recently all the glamour that took to the red carpet at the Hello Hall of Fame awards over the weekend. And while we were mesmerised by all of our celebrities who put forth their most stylish foot, we couldn't help but notice these two gorgeous divas in all their finery. We're talking about Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Gauri Khan. It was nothing but refreshing to see these two women take to the red carpet at the awards function and in their rather similar gold gowns, they stunned.


Let's start off with Gauri Khan. making a rather glam entrance whilst on the hand of her superstar hubby, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri chose a Monisha Jaising gown to make her appearance in. Her gold gown featured all-over gold sequins, a thigh-high split and sheer gold oversize sleeves. Gauri let her outfit do all the impressing and she did away with jewellery for the night. Her locks, styled in soft waves, cascaded down her shoulders and she went rather subtle in the makeup department too.

Shweta, on the other hand, opted for an Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla gold gown featuring long sleeves, a plunge for the neckline and all-over sequins work on a dull-gold background. Shweta accessorised with a minimalistic gold neck piece and she too wore her hair open and styled in soft waves. With statement eyes and a light pink for her smile, she looked dazzling in her number.
