Sonam Kapoor's latest look gives us 'Desi Duchess' vibes

Sonam Kapoor is currently on a well-deserved hiatus from long shoot schedules and red carpet appearances. The actress was in London, celebrating the festivities for her cousin Priya Singh’s wedding. The actress took to her Instagram to share pictures from the wedding.
While the vibrant family picture, gave us a look into the private affair, we also found out, it wasn’t a regular maximalised Indian wedding. The Kapoor fam clearly took inspiration from the English tea parties, throwing a garden wedding party, dressed up much like the British Royal family.
Sharing a lovely picture of the couple, Sonam wrote a long note for her cousin on Instagram. “The princess met her perfect soulmate and they lived happily ever after with all her dogs, eating the best food , the best wine and being merry! Thank you for the most beautiful time Priya didi and Ranbir! You make a beautiful pair! And a special tribute to both of you in the words of Tina Turner “You’re simply the best Better than all the rest. Better than anyone. Anyone I’ve ever met. I’m stuck on your heart. I hang on every word you say. Tear us apart Baby, I would rather be dead”
Naturally, Sonam’s look did not disappoint. Sonam chose a gorgeous ivory dress and black mules, both by Emilia Wickstead. Sonam’s graceful dress had its own cape. To break the monotony, Sonam picked black gloves, A Lady Dior handbag and gorgeous headgear (Hello royal wedding protocol!) and beautiful Amrapalli earrings.
Keeping the English theme in mind, Sonam’s makeup was radiant and nude toned. But the delicate curls and the fitting headgear clearly stole the show. What did you think of the look?
