Sonam Kapoor's version of this popular trend is simply chic!

Sonam Kapoor's sartorial choices have stopped surprising us anymore. We instantly think of words like chic, trendy and everything gorgeous to describe any look she throws at us and this time too, the actress has given out the same vibes but this time, she's done it in all black. The actress worked the monotone trend in the dark hue and gave it her own trendy twist...as usual.

Styled by her sister and usual stylist Rhea Kapoor, Sonam donned an Elie Saab black dress for her appearance as a guest on a show. The dress featured a baby-doll silhouette with a black tulle overlay atop a black skirt and sheer sleeves. The black embroidery on the bodice as also on the sleeves lent that very official vibe to the cute look and the pussycat bow at the neck was just the cherry atop the cake.

Sonam completed her look with black heels that featured a pom-pom accent on the toe-strap thus lending that fun and quirky element to her monotone look. She went with her hair half-tied and did away with accessories thus keeping it stylishly classic. With a no-makeup look and white nail polish, she rounded it off. We love how Sonam has given us a cooler and chicer alternative to the LBD and we can't wait to try something similar!
