Suneet Varma makes for a grand opening act at the Delhi Times Fashion Week

As all things in the new year continue, so does the Times Fashion Week and none other than ace designer, Suneet Varma made for the opening act at the Delhi Times Fashion Week! And while we wished you were here to experience the magic he created on the ramp, we've decided to get you a detailed note of everything that takes to the ramp this fashion week, like always. Let's start off then...
Suneet Varma showcased his latest collection, titled, Labyrinth and let us tell you that it was all things amazing! The designer showcased Indian as also western silhouettes ranging from sarees, to elaborate anarkalis and gowns too! The outfits were detailed to the 'T' and it would be an understatement to say that they reeked of perfection. The designer, this time worked with a neutral colour palette and stuck to light and refreshing spring colours like sky-blue and peach but he did throw in dark colours like black in there too.
The outfits were detailed with intricate embroidery and embellished with what looked like sewn-in crystals too. Varma proved that prints aren't a bygone yet and worked with several prints especially the all-time favourite, florals. Coming to accessories, the designer decided to do away with the usual, neck pieces and earrings and instead decided to go with trendy head-gears! From floral ones with the sarees to jewelled gold ones with his other Indian looks, the head-gears made for quite a bit of drama on the ramp.
