These DIY hair masks are super easy to try at home

Tired of dandruff and hair fall? Want your hair to look better, longer and shinier? Well, that’s what most products promise us. It’s important to remember that while there are thousands of shampoos and conditioners and products out there that promise you better hair, not all of them work. And let’s just say we can’t get most of them without burning a hole in our pockets. But fear not, for here are 3 super easy DIY hair masks that you can easily whisk up at home. Try these and thank us later.

DIY repair mask for dry and damaged hair

Ingredients:

2 tbsps of coconut oil2 tbsps of argan oil (supplement with olive oil or canola if argan isn’t available)1 egg2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil, or lavender oil

Combine these ingredients and whisk them well together. Apply the mask over damp hair and pay special attention to the ends. If you have dandruff or a dry scalp then massage the mask into your roots as well. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse your hair with your preferred shampoo and conditioner.

DIY clarifying mask for oily roots

Ingredients:1/3 cup of lemon juice (or lime)1 tablespoon of sea salt (use crystals instead of refined table salt)1 teaspoon of coconut oil

Mix all the ingredients into a part scrub, part shampoo mixture. Focus on you scalp with this one and deeply massage the mask into your roots. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then rinse with warm water and shampoo. Remember not to use conditioner with this one.

DIY mask for growth boosting and longer locks

Ingredients:2 tablespoons of canola oil2 tablespoons of jojoba oil (grab some hazelnut or grapeseed if you don’t have jojoba oil)1 egg2-3 drops of rosemary oil (lemongrass is a great substitute)
