There is a variety of blushes available in the market from liquid, cream to powder. They also have their pros and cons. If you're still dismissive about blush, we're here to convince you that it is an absolute essential in your makeup kit to perk up dull skin or give you just a subtle flush of colour. Just remember to pick a large, fluffy blush brush for application and smile when applying.

Fair Skin
You can use Lakme Absolute Face Duo Blush in Rose Blush which will be the best for your skin and it costs Rs 750. If you have a fair skin tone your peaches and cream complexion can go in for cool toned pinks or baby pinks that will give you a natural just-came-in-from-the-cold look. If you're fair but have yellow undertones, a peach hue will be super flattering to your skin type. You can even try NYX Professional Makeup Blush in Baby Doll, Rs 600.

Olive Skin
For skin that looks like it's just tanned apricot and dusty rose hues look amazing. It gives the skin luminosity and some warmth, making you look like you've returned from a tropical vacay. You can use Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot, Rs 2900 or L'Oréal Paris Infallible Chubby Blush Paint in Pinkability, Rs 999.

Dusky Skin
If you have a rich, caramel-hued complexion, you can go in for corals, berries, and deep peach tones. You can use Benefit Cosmetics Coralista Blush, Rs 2430. You can even skip bronzers altogether. If you have medium dusky tones, a neon pink shade contrasts beautifully against your skin.
