Mumbai rains are truly torrential and scary and aside from sipping some hot 'chai' whilst your indoors, there's nothing much to look forward to with the monsoon. But Karl Lagerfeld might just have changed that perception for you. His major haute couture brand has released clear PVC rainwear which includes everything from clear hats to caped ponchos. But our favourite is definitely the clear boots!
Clear jeans took to the market a while back and received more flak that appreciation, however, we don't see that cheapening here. The boots actually make for a chic look and are offset with white, making for a rather pleasing combination. The designer featured his innovative footwear whilst showcasing at the label's spring show 2018 in Paris and it comes as no jolt that the boots truly stole the show.
Ranging from mid-calf to knee height, the boots featured the brand's signature cap-toe and in not just white but black too.
