Coronavirus has literally changed the whole face of fashion and there’s no second thought about it. From altering our shopping habits to changing our fashion priorities, the virus scare has made us question the safety of simple clothing, let alone be haute couture. From now on, fashion is going to be different forever and it has already begun with the new concept of ‘Trikini’. Trikini is the coronavirus inspired fashion trend that we will see during this summer and may be throughout the year.

The brainchild of an Italian designer, Tiziana Scaramuzzo who created an exclusive range of ‘trikinis’ which can be worn post-lockdown to keep up with the safety measures while indulging in beach trips. Trikini is the three-part swimwear with an addition of a new component, you guessed it right, a matching face mask. Other parts of the swimwear are the matching bikini top and bottom.

According to Fox News, the designer came up with this innovative idea of corona-safe beachwear while randomly “joking with the family”. Since then, the designer has been heavily involved in making something that allows people to enjoy fashion, fun, and safety at the same time. Tiziana’s social media pages started posting pictures of her new creation aka ‘trikinis’ and received a series of positive responses and that’s when the concept of ‘trikini’ became a viral fashion trend on the internet.

The designer also believes that her patterned swimwear with intriguing patterns can also help people to cope up with the pandemic blues.

This is a strong proof of how fashion can hold high even during the on-going global crisis. Are you willing to try this new trend?
