The metallic trend has taken to the fashion scene in a big way. From it being worn solely at night, today metallics are worn with complete confidence even during the day and make for rather chic looks too! Today, we've caught Malaika and Deepika work not just the trend but also a rather bold hue. The actresses stunned in their metallic pieces and we're in awe.
Styled by Maneka Harisinghani, Malaika had on a Monisha Jaising number for the show. The metallic green lamé dress hung close to every curve of Malaika's and she sizzled in it, of course! The off-shoulder piece had what looked like a bow-accented neckline in the same material which made for a very chic addition to the look. The material and the bold colour more than made up for the lack of print going on and Malaika pulled off the number with her usual grace and elegance. She completed her look with pointy-toed champagne heels and went with bold gold earrings to accessorize with too. She wore her hair in a messy ponytail and looked her gorgeous self.
Deepika, styled by her trusted Shaleena Nathani worked the same Monisha Jaising green lamé look but in a pant-suit. Deepika had on wide-legged pants in the metallic material which she paired with a matching jacket-style long-sleeved top. She pulled off the plunging neckline with ease and stunned in the piece. It's no easy task to be able to pull-off the monotone look but Deepika managed to do it with utmost elegance. She wore her locks open but slicked back and she too just went with bold earrings to accessorize with.
