It's been weeks since we've been predicting all the awesomeness that would take to the ramp at The Walk of Mijwan fashion show and it finally did happen! After a 10-day delay owing to the ill health of both showstoppers, Manish Malhotra finally presented the 7th edition of the Mijwan Fashion Show 2018, a collaborative initiative between the designer and the Shabana Azmi-run NGO, Mijwan Welfare Society. And what a show it was!

The night was marked by all the signatures of a Manish Malhotra show, that being celebrity showstoppers and a celebrity 'FROW'. As we informed you all earlier, 'ex-flames', Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor came together to walk the ramp after many years just for Bollywood's favourite designer. And much like we expected, they shut the ramp down with their model struts and elaborate ensembles!

Looking mind-numbingly stunning, Deepika was seen wearing a beautiful nude sheer lehenga adorned with intricately embroidered floral motifs in ivory (nude and ivory being Malhotra's favourite combinations). The lehenga was teamed with a matching embroidered crop-top with a dupatta-inspired drape hanging from the shoulder and running down the back. Deepika’s look was accessorised with just a pair of not-too-bold danglers that beautifully added subtle pops of red and green. Matching the red in the earrings, Deepika bold red lips were balanced out with soft, smoky eyes. The look was finished off with an off-centre-parted sleek pony.

As for Ranbir, he made for a striking contrast to DP in his black sherwani. The sherwani featured floral embroidered motifs in white and went with a relatively long white kurta and white bottoms. Black brogues rounded off his look.

Here's a glimpse of the awesomeness that took to the ramp last night...

'Wow' is not the word, right?
