5 exercises that will rid you of your hunchback problems

Our sedentary lifestyles are majorly to blame for our bad posture. A bad posture is mainly because of the amount of time we spend sitting in front of our computers or being hunched in front of our phones. Not to mention, various other health problems that could be affecting it. Fitness experts Jinnie Gogia Chugh and Ilu Singh suggest five exercises to help correct a bad posture:

Reverse plank and reverse plank bridge
These two exercises are highly effective to correct a bad posture. These exercises target your hip abductors, hip adductors, hip flexors and the lumbar spine. They also help strengthen the lower back.

Deadlift
The deadlift is an exercise that will immediately help straighten out the back. It will strengthen your lower back and will indirectly correct your posture too. They will also help strengthen your core and limbs.


Face pulls
If you have developed a hunchback over time, face pulls are what you need. A hunched back is usually caused by having tight chest muscles and weak upper back muscles. Face pulls will help strengthen your upper back and rear delts.

Goblet squats
Goblet squats will help develop muscles in your legs and will also help stretch your hip flexors, abductors and lumbar spine. Stretchability is essential for a good posture.

Plank
This is the most common exercise to help straighten out a bad posture. Planks will help strengthen your core and in turn, lead you to have a correct and upright posture.
