Regular blood sugar: Anjeer has chlorogenic acid that helps in reducing the blood sugar levels in diabetic people. The potassium that is found in abundance in figs even plays an important role in controlling the blood sugar levels.

Checks on heart health: Figs reduce the amount of triglycerides in the body that are otherwise responsible for heart diseases as they are the fat particles that accumulate along the blood vessel which ultimately causes heart attacks.

Prevents kidney stones: You can even drink water that is boiled with some figs in it as it helps in preventing kidney stones.
