All the caffeine that we consume an have a lasting effect on our body as well as mind. That's not all, it can also make us jittery and anxious and can have impacts on our skin in a big way
We all know that a shot of caffeine can wake us up in the morning and can even better our mood sometimes when it's needed. This makes many of us addicted to it in a way where we turn up to a cup of coffee every single day. We count on a cup of coffee so much that some of us actually don't feel properly awake in the mornings until we've had our first coffee of the day. Even when it's true that coffee can keep us alert and increases our concentration as well as beats stress, too much of anything isn't good for health. All the caffeine that we consume an have a lasting effect on our body as well as mind. That's not all, it can also make us jittery and anxious and can have impacts on our skin in a big way.

It's all fair till we consume caffeine moderately. Any high intake of coffee can affect your skin and even lead to dehydrated skin or acne prone skin. Not all of us will have the kind of skin that can handle too much coffee. Many of us have sensitive skin which can be prone to acne and if that's the situation, you'll want to limit your caffeine intake. Coffee can impact our hormones and can increase the levels of stress hormones which causes breakouts. Even though coffee contains milk or water, it can still cause dehydrated skin. It works in similar manners as alcohol where it makes us feel dehydrated and if it can make our lips feel dry, you can only imagine what it can do to your skin.

Coffee is also known to reduce the collagen in your skin which is important for our skin and body. Collagen creation or growth helps our skin look happy and healthy. Which means, due to coffee, we're going to have to suffer from lack of collagen which can make our skin look dull. Hence, quitting coffee can increase the growth of collagen and makes us look healthier and makes our skin glow too. More than that, the dehydration caused due to coffee can also go away by a caffeine detox and can lead to beautiful hydrated skin all over again. Coffee also increases the oil production in our skin and causes our pores to clog. Hence, cutting down on caffeine is one of the best solutions to achieve healthy, glowing and radiant skin.
