be it scrambled, poached, boiled or fried - eggs have a variety of possible options to be eaten. But while you might know of various ways to eat an egg, do you know as many to use an eggshell?

All of us usually chuck the eggshells in the trash not knowing that you can actually keep them aside for future projects. From being useful for your kitchen to your garden, eggshells can really come in handy.

Get creative with eggshells in these ways:

- You can clean pots and pans: Even though eggshells are fragile, they are abrasive enough to scrub away some cooked-on grime. You can mix them up with a little soapy water and then get scrubbing.

- Use them as a fertilizer in the garden: Putting eggshells in your garden soil will actually allow them to breakdown and make your soil calcium-rich over time. This is very helpful for vegetables like peppers and tomatoes that suffer from blossom end rot that can occur when there is a lack of calcium.

- Eggshells can be used as seed starter: You can even put eggshells to use as tiny pots to get seeds started inside. You just have to fill half of a shell with dirt and then plant your seed and then wait for it to germinate.

- You can feed birds with the help of eggshells: Female birds love to munch on baked eggshells as it gives them calcium that they need after laying eggs. Laying out crushed baked shells will brings a lot of birds to the yard.
