Women have been loving to experiment with their hair lately. Be it cutting them short or colouring them with really bold colours, women have been loving it all. But you must know how important it is to take care of your hair while you're putting them through all the experiments. Dyeing your hair will make you look cool for sure, but do you know the kind of damage that it brings to your hair? Using expensive products and following a proper hair care routine will not give you good results if you don't quit using hot tools, hairdryers. Humidity, sun, beach air and dry hair can also play a role in damaging your dyed hair.

If you aren't happy with your hair, we have you some information on how to avoid using these things and bring back the good hair days:

- Don't overlap colours: It might be too tempting, but layering colours on an already existing colour can actually cause serious damage to your hair. Keep a gap of a few months before you re-colour your hair.

- Don't dry your hair: If you have dyed your hair, you must avoid towel drying your hair. Scrubbing your hair dry with a towel will cause the colour to fade. In fact, you can just gently blot your hair and let it naturally dry.

- Avoid having little time between shampooing and conditioning and colouring: Some people might not give enough time to their hair between shampooing and conditioning. Some people might not even go a day without shampooing their hair which tends to fade the colour quicker than usual. Also, once you get your hair coloured, you aren't supposed to wash your hair for the next 72 hours. To top it all, make sure you use a colour-safe shampoo without sulfates.

- Don't use a random conditioner: Conditioning your hair is very important. But if you have coloured hair, always remember to ask your stylist what kind of products they'd recommend for your new hair colour. Since your hair is dyed, they might become dry and brittle which is why it becomes all the more important o find a right conditioner. You will have to work harder on providing your hair with the moisture that it need so that you can avoid the colour fade and hair breakage.
