Winter is almost here, which means our skin and hair are going to go through a whole phase of dryness and roughness. Especially our scalp can turn itchy and you might soon have to deal with flaky scalp and dandruff issues. In worst cases, you might also have reactions to the weather like itching and eczema. This is why, it is very important to take care of your hair and indulge in some habits that will do some good to your hair and scalp health.

First things first, don't use heated hair styling products too much. They only dry your hair out faster and causes split ends and takes away the good health of your hair.

You need to massage your scalp more often with hot oil treatments, home remedies and hair packs. All of these will only improve the quality of your otherwise dry and brittle hair. Doing all of this will in turn moisturize the scalp and protect it from drying out.

Make sure you exfoliate your scalp on a day to day basis as it helps in getting rid of the flakes and rather gives you a smooth and lump-free scalp. You can use scrubs that are mixed with ingredients like sugar and salt with essential oils for really food hair care results.

Always keep yourself hydrated. Drink fresh juices and also indulge in snacking on some healthy foods like fruits and nuts. This will ensure that your hair gets its best health and all the required nutrients during the cold days.

Switch your shampoo to the ones that cures itchiness and dryness. Make sure you hair feels nourishes and moisturized after every hair wash. Take good care of your hair even after you shampoo and condition your hair by applying some serum.

Stress less as stress can also make your hair turn lifeless. Manage things in a better way at work, plan your days, get better at handling situations and everything in fall in place including your hair health in winters.
