All you need is three ingredients to make your own sanitiser at home!

In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, people are trying to bulk buy everything they think can help and this is why so many stores have already run out of hand sanitisers. And wherever there is an availability of the product, it's being sold at much higher rates. Now, we can't exactly change the mindset of ignorant people who don't understand that others might also need to use such products.

But what we can do is change our ways. If you can't buy a hand sanitiser from the store, why not make one at home? That's right, you can just DIY a sanitiser and the best part is that it only requires three ingredients and ten minutes to put together.

The ingredients you'll need are- Rubbing alcohol or Isopropyl alcohol (try to look for a 99% concentration), Aloe vera gel or Glycerine (will help ensure your skin doesn't get dehydrated or starts to peel and will keep it moisturised), Lavender essential oil (contains anti-inflammatory properties and will also provide a pleasant fragrance).

Take a glass bowl and add 4-5 drops of rubbing alcohol to it. Then, add 2-3 spoons of aloe vera gel as well as 5-15 drops of lavender essential oil. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and use a funnel or dropper to transfer the mixture into a bottle. Your hand sanitiser is now ready to use!

Remember that you can also use other ingredients in place of these and this can come in rather handy in this situation. Stay clean, stay safe and stay tuned for more updates from us.
