There are a lot of beauty tips that are nothing but a myth and you need to get rid of these or else you'll fall prey to putting them in use and ultimately damage your skin
Needing the right beauty tips is not wrong, but believing in any and every tip that you hear or read somewhere is wrong. There are a lot of beauty tips that are nothing but a myth and you need to get rid of these or else you'll fall prey to putting them in use and ultimately damage your skin.

We're here to do away with some common beauty myths that you need to stop believing in:

- People with oily skin don't need to moisturize their skin as it can cause more oil on the skin. This is wrong! Oily skin type needs as much moisturizing as other skin types do as the oil gets stripped off every time you wash and cleanse your face.

- Home remedies are the best. This is not entirely wrong but not entirely right as well. Although, a wrong concoction of home remedies sure can have negative impact on your skin. Home remedies are not 100% harmless. If you're allergic to some natural ingredient and don't know about it, you might end up getting some skin infection if you happen to use it.

- The right kind of diet and drinking lots of water will do magic to your skin. This is not all right. Your skin sure needs a good diet and hydration, but it also needs much more than just that. Water will detoxify your skin and diet will have the right impact on your skin. But it also needs a proper skincare routine and products that will keep it clean and healthy.

- Washing your face many times in a day will keep your skin looking clean and clear. This is false. Washing your face regularly sure is important but not too many times. It can in fact strip your skin off of the natural oils and make you skin dry and dehydrated. You just need to wash it 2-3 times a day with cold water and you're good to go.
