Can drinking coffee on a daily basis boost energy levels?

Many people just cannot do without a cup of coffee in the morning and that is because it helps recharge their brain and keeps them feeling active. While coffee is known to provide instant energy as it is readily absorbed in the body, there often arises a question. Can drinking coffee keep you feeling energetic all day long? The effects of coffee can actually vary from person to person much like the effects of any medicine do. According to research, it takes somewhere between 15 to 45 minutes for the caffeine to get absorbed in the body.



On an average, caffeine can stay in the human body for up to 4-6 hours. This means that if you've consumed 40 gm of caffeine, after 4-6 hours only 20 mg will remain in your bloodstream. This remaining coffee is then broken down and metabolised which decreases its levels in the body. So, this proves that caffeine doesn't last in the body for the entire day. And as these levels begin to decrease, you may start feeling a sense of fatigue or tiredness. So, this is probably when you should opt for that next cup of coffee.
