Class 9 student reportedly found dead in school toilet after being beaten up by a group of students

On Thursday a class 9 student was found dead after allegedly beaten up to death inside a private school’s toilet. It was done by a group of students from east Delhi declared the police. The student was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was reportedly declared dead. Another incident also took place where another student was found dead inside his school toilet under mysterious circumstances. 14-year-old boy Tushar was found dead at 11 am inside the toilet of Jeevan Jyoti Senior Secondary School in Karawal Nagar after beaten up by fellow students.


Apparently, the school’s management said that Tushar was allegedly suffering from diarrhea and fell unconscious, which was the reason for his death. Till Thursday night victim’s family along with parents protested outside the school gate till late night alleging of foul play. The police are currently examining the CCTV footage of the area.


An official said, "Some students were seen entering toilet after Tushar in the CCTV footage, we are questioning with those students. A probe is on. During preliminary investigation, there were no visible injuries marks found on his body. However, the deceased`s family members alleged foul play and said he was beaten up by some students inside the school`s toilet. We have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against unknown persons," the police officer said, adding they are waiting for the postmortem report to ascertain the cause of death.”
