Dealing with a dry nose? These natural ingredients will help fix it

All of us has experienced dry nose at some or the other point due to some or the other reason. And as much as we know that it will happen time and again, we can't deny the discomfort that it brings to us. It's not a major health condition but it can irritate us a lot and also put you at risk of many health problems. It can get very annoying to deal with and leads to breathing issues and sometimes even cause us sinus problems and headaches. This is why, it becomes all the more important to treat this problem before it gets worse and harms our health.

It is when our nasal passage gets dry and crusty, we need something to moisturize it which is the most important. This commonly happens due to allergies or cold. Also, if you have a runny nose then it can dry up too and for that too you don't need any kind of medications. You just need to follow a few easy home remedies that can fix the issue with natural ingredients.

- Coconut oil: The tried and trusted natural ingredient for many issues, this one helps moisturize your dry nose and also reduce discomfort and irritation. You can use a dropper and pour just one or two drops of coconut oil in each of your nostril and let it stay. It will nourish and moisturize the dry nose.

- Olive oil: This oil has the ability to moisturize and hydrate your nose and also reduced dryness and removes the crusts. It provides your nose some much needed relief from all the discomfort and irritation. Use a dropper for the same or you can even use a cotton dipped in olive oil and press it gently inside your nostrils.

- Salt water: Another technique is to mix one teaspoon of pure salt in half a cup of water and pour it in a spray bottle. Spray some of it in your nostrils or just pour some in your hand and breathe in the water and blow our after a few seconds.

- Petroleum jelly: This is the best way to moisturize and hydrate the dry skin in your nose. Take some petroleum jelly on your hand and apply it properly inside your nose. Make sure you don't apply too much of it.
