Did you know men can smell when women are turned on

A new study has found that men are able to tell when women are sexually aroused and even find women more attractive then. In fact, the study claims that men can even distinguish between the scents of a sexually aroused woman and non-aroused woman.

"The present studies suggest that men are sensitive to the olfactory signals of sexual arousal released by women,” said Arnaud Wisman from the University of Kent in the UK. “This research suggests that these signals released along with corresponding visual and auditory expressions of sexual interest can produce a stronger overall signal that increases sexual motivation,” Wisman added.

In previous studies, it was found that people are able to communicate emotions like fear and sadness through scents and now sexual arousal has also made it to this list. These findings were established when men were asked to smell sweat samples from women who were sexually aroused and non-aroused women.

This also showed that when men smelled the scent of sexually aroused women, they also got sexually aroused. It apparently increased their sexual motivation and made them find the women more attractive. “Sexual interest may entail more than meets the eye and we hope that the current findings encourage further research to examine the role of sexual olfactory signals in human communication,” Wisman concluded.
