Diets have pretty much turned into fads these days and no matter where you turn, you'll find at least one diet claiming that it can cater to all your needs. While diets are great on their own, people also try various other things to help shed those extra kilos. One of those things is tea. No, we're not talking about the regular tea that you get. Although there are various benefits of drinking regular tea, the one we're talking about is an apple and ginger tea.

It might sound like an odd combination to you, but trust us when we say this tea is super beneficial when it comes to losing weight. Multiple people have claimed that if you drink this tea on a daily basis every morning on an empty stomach, then it can help you lose those extra kilos and rapidly. A few of its benefits include improved digestion, immunity boost, eases inflammation, regulates blood sugar, gets rid of toxins from the body and so on.

Both apples and ginger have their own health benefits. Not only do apples make for a rather tasty treat but they're also full of fibres that can aid the digestive system and can leave you feeling satiated for long. Ginger, on the other hand, is rich in natural compounds which can provide multiple health benefits like preventing or healing inflammation and inducing weight loss. So, a combination of both apples and ginger can prove to be rather beneficial to you.

Here's how you can make apple ginger tea. You'll need 2 large apples (you can use any variety you like), 1 large piece of ginger, 4-5 cups of water and some honey to enhance the taste. Start by cutting the apples into small pieces. Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces as well. Except for honey, put all the other ingredients into a pot and then boil them for a good 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the ingredients simmer for a bit. Then pour the ingredients into a blender and blend them together until they become smooth. Add the honey and mix. Your tea is now ready to be consumed. Stay tuned for more updates.
