Since all of us are locked in our homes, we only have the basic chores to take care of apart from the office work that takes 8-9 hours of the day. This is the time when all of us are doing sweeping, mopping, washing clothes and utensils too. But while you're doing all of that, have you been finding your hands itchy and dry, especially after doing the dishes?

This is because you might have sensitive skin and chemicals that the liquid soap has can cause irritation. This is common if the dish-washing soap is alcohol based. But don't worry, we've got you a solution to get rid of this issue.

- You first need to get yourself a sturdy pair of thick dish gloves so that your skin doesn't come in contact with the liquid soap.

- Before you start to wash the utensils, apply a thick layer of moisturiser, most importantly the one which contains shea butter as it is highly musturizing.

- Avoid using hot water.

- If you're someone who does the dishes everyday, make sure you apply a thick layer of lotion and wear the gloves at night. Choose for a breathable pair so that your hands don't get sweaty. This is work well for a long run too.

- Usually people resort to petroleum jelly to beat dryness, but it actually won't. It will only provide momentary protection and eventually suffocate yuour skin. Try avoiding that and use a nice moisturiser instead.
