You must at all times take care of your feet as much as you take care of your overall health. There are many ways in which you can take care of you feet and one major way is by getting a pedicure. A simple and nice pedicure makes you get rid of all the damaged skin and nourishes and hydrates your feet as well. Not just that, it also reduces stress and leaves you with soft smooth feet.

Now, going to a salon twice a month for a pedicure can put a hole in your pockets. And it even eventually make you think twice on whether you should make that appointment that often or no. This is why, the very pocket-friendly alternative to this is doing a pedicure at your own home. We've got you some simple tips on how to do a pedicure at home

Always use a creamy scrub for your feet. This will help in moisturizing your skin while also removing the dead skin off of your feet.

You must also hydrate your feet by moisturizing them where you can use a cream or a moisturizer to nourish your cuticles. This will help in cleansing and adding shine to your skin.

To do a pedicure, you can soak your feet for 15 minutes in warm water first, add lemon juice and salt to the warm water. Take a fresh set of warm water and clean your feet using it for 30 seconds. Once this is done, make use of the regular exfoliation process.

Pat dry you feet with a soft towel as a hard towel can take away the moisture from you skin.

You can choose to apply a nice nail paint and soak your toenails in ice water to help prevent the nail paint from smudging. This will also help in drying the paint faster.

If you don't wish to use a cuticle oil for your feet, you can simply opt for olive oil as well.

Last but not the least, give you feet a good massage as it releases the tension and eases out the pain if any.
