There are many ways rose water can be used to rejuvenate damaged the skin. Because rose water is a mild astringent, it could help get rid of puffy eyes and swelling. All you need to do is dab a little cotton in a bowl of rose water and then close your eyes and let it sit on your lids for a few good minutes. Apply the water at least twice a day to get the most out of it.

03/10Use a cold compress

A cold compress may be all you need to tackle those dark circles instead of expensive products. The cold temperature can make the blood vessels constrict faster. You can buy acold compress or use items around the house. A cold teaspoon, a bag of frozen veggies, or a wet washcloth can do the job just as well. Apply it on your face for a few minutes to get the best results.

The moisture and anti-inflammatory properties found in aloe vera ,helps to get rid of those pesky dark circles. Make sure to clean the area well before massaging in aloe vera pulp. Leave it on for 10 minutes. You can choose to keep it on or wash your face if you feel sticky.

Everyone has seen pictures of women getting facials with cucumbers over their eyes. Ever wonder why it's there? The temperature of cucumbers and compounds it contains is why it so effective in tackling dark circles. It is also very soothing. Chill a few slices in the fridge for 30 minutes and place it on the dark circles for 10 minutes. You should continue this process every day for a week twice a day.

Coconut oil contains antioxidants and vitamin E that works to repair damaged cells. Its anti-inflammatory properties also help to reduce swelling. To combat your dark circles with this oil, massage some of it under your eyes right before bed. You'll soon notice a difference.

Increased pigment is one of the reasons that can cause dark circles. This happens because of sun damage or you’re rubbing your eyes too much. Using lotions that contain vitamin C, kojic acid and licorice extract can help treat the issue. Sunscreen is also important to use as it contains zinc oxide which protects the skin from the sun's harsh rays.
