Unlike lash extensions, there aren’t any new pieces of fake lashes attached to your real ones. The lash lift process is all about enhancing the appearance of your real lashes. Think of it like a perm for your lash hair. However, the formula used to curl or lift your lashes is much gentler and safer on the hair. The process is absolutely painless. And despite the minute difference in the appearance, makes a ton if difference to one’s look.

The eye area is prepped for the process by making sure it’s free of any makeup, dirt or grime. The aesthetician applies a silicone mould or shield to the eyelid with a non-toxic glue. The aesthetician then uses the mould and glue to shape the lashes over the mould. This process takes around 5 minutes. Once the solution is removed, the lashes are conditioned with a conditioning out. After the process, one has to be careful to not wetting the lashes in the next 24 hours.

Depending on the place you do it from, a lash lift can cost you anywhere between Rs. 5000 to Rs.10,000. Of course, you might find places that may do it for cheaper. But we suggest you go through only if you know the aesthetician well.

A lash lift will last you from 6-10 weeks. It depends mostly on the person’s lash growth cycle. The good news is, it’s very easy to maintain. After keeping your lashes bare for the first day, you can go back to wearing your mascara and rubbing your eyes and ish!
