Eye cream mistakes you need to stop making ASAP

Eye cream is a miracle worker for anyone who has undereye problems like puffy eyes or dark circles and can even work on those tiny wrinkles and blemishes around the eyes. The right eye cream can help get rid of all of that and can significantly reduce the signs of ageing around your eyes.

But unless you use the cream properly, all its efforts will be in vain. And if you're not noticing a difference in the skin around your eyes, it's probably because you're making some basic eye cream mistakes. Here's what those mistakes are and why you need to stop making them ASAP.

-Using too much cream. There's really no need to be doing this. Since the area of application is small the amount you need is also going to be less. Using too much won't help get rid of the problem faster and on the contrary, may block your pores and lead to other skin issues instead.

-Applying the cream on dry skin. Like any other cream, eye cream also works well when you apply it on damp skin. It gets absorbed much faster and can do a better job.

-Rubbing the skin under your eyes too hard. The skin on your face is a lot more sensitive than the skin on your body so the last thing you should be doing is rubbing it aggressively. This can also lead to more wrinkles and fine lines, so avoid doing this.

-Applying the cream to the wrong area. You must ensure that you don't apply the cream too close to your eyes or it could lead to irritation in your eyes and that's a big no-no. The cream must be applied at least an inch below your lower lash line and right under your eyebrows.

Keep these mistakes in mind the next time you opt for your eye cream and you'll see the difference it makes by avoiding them. Stay tuned for more updates.
