Food swaps that flatter your carb cravings and also help in weight loss

People who are very particular about their diet often find themselves craving for some or the other food item, especially sweet or the one with carbs. This is for people who're desperately wanting to lose weight and have been cutting down on all carbs and sugar rich foods. And often, these people end up following a low-carb or keto diet to see results on them. So when they crave for such foods, it becomes really difficult for them to control the urge. And this is exactly why we're here. We're going to give you a few food swap ideas that will help you flatter your carb cravings and at the same time also keep your weight loss regime successful.

- When you crave for a pizza, you can swap refined flour with almond flour.
This is a very effective way as it still fulfills your craving to bite on a pizza slice and still keeps your low-carb diet intact. You can add eggs to almond flour with water and mould it into a dough. Next up, add some mozarella cheese, cream cheese and low-carb tomato/pizza sauce on top of it and you're all set to savour the yummy pizza! Guess what! You can also use almong flour to make waffles, pancakes and mozzarella sticks. Isn't that a great option!?

- When you crave for rice, swap it with cauliflower.
You can very much make cauliflower rice for yourself by washing and chopping some medium-sized cauliflower and eventually grating them well. Once you're done with this, you can saute it along with olive oil, pepper, salt and other seasonings and that's all that there is. Your cauliflower rice is ready to eat and you're still very much maintaining a low-carb diet.

- When you crave for pasta, swap it with zucchini pasta.
Shred some zucchini with a peeler to make zucchini spaghetti. It can also be used t make pizza crust. You can then add some home made low-carb pasta sauce, garlic, pepper, salt, oregano and a few other seasonings of your choice. That's all that you need to eat your way to glory and satisfy your carb cravings.

- When you crave for tortilla, you can swap it with lettuce/cabbage wrap.
Tortilla wraps means a lot of carbs and you can ditch them by making some crunchy iceberg lettuce wraps or even a blanched cabbage wrap. You can add some homemade dressings, veggies and seasonings of your choice to make this low-carb wrap a yummy one!

- When you crave for deep fried potato chips, you can swap them with cheese chips.
You read that right! Cheese chips are in fact better munchies than potato fries. You can mix cheddar cheese with parmesan, mould them int chips and bake them all too well.
