Foods that you should and shouldn't have in this hot weather

It's that time of the year when you have to take extra care of your health. The weather that can bring many illnesses and infections. Days when you might want to munch on some yummies. But, did you know that there is a whole list of cold and hot foods that you are required to follow during summers? You read that right. Avoiding hot food items and eating more of cold foods will decrease your body heat that this hot weather tends to bring. Even if you can't completely stick to this list of hot and cold foods, you must know about what's good and bad for your health.

Cold foods: Watermelons, apples, chikoo, lemon, onion, cucumbers, spinach, tomato, cabbage, carrot, radish coriander and mint, bhindi, beet, saunf, cardamom, coconut water, pomegranate, sugarcane juice, salt, moong dal, coffee, drumstick, jowar, tulsi, raisin and egg white of boiled eggs.

You can include these foods in your daily food intake as they will only help you keep your body cool and hydrated.
And there's a list of hot foods that you should avoid eating. If you can't, at least avoid over consumption of it as it might mess up with your body system.

Hot foods: Orange, mango, ginger-garlic, potato, karela, chillies, corn, methi, papaya, gavaar, brinjal, pineapple, honey, toor dal, moong dal, jaggery, peanut, almonds, cashews, walnuts, dates, turmeric, tea, paneer, bajra, nachani, ice cream, shrikhand, bread, khari biscuits, hot drinks, cold drinks, meat, chicken and mutton, refrigerated food items and water.

It is always advisable to take extra care of what does in your body, as it can easily heal or make you suffer. And summer is one challenging time of the year to make some serious changes to your diet in order to remain healthy and strong.
