When you want thick and beautiful hair, you also need to ensure that you're taking good care of your scalp. Unless you maintain the condition of your scalp, things can get bad for you and fast. One of the most common scalp conditions most women face is a fungal infection. It can make your hair super greasy, can add dandruff flakes to your scalp, can lead to split ends and can cause such a tremendous itch in your scalp that it would put a monkey to shame. So, if you're looking to get rid of a fungal infection from your scalp, here are some natural remedies that will help.

Apple cider vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is pretty much like an elixir when it comes to treating skin and hair issues. It contains some amazing anti-fungal properties that are sure to get rid of your fungal infection in no time. Just mix 1 cup of the vinegar into 4 cups of water and rinse your scalp with the mixture. Let it sit for about a minute and then wash it off.

Lemons: Lemons also work as natural antiseptics when it comes to treating infections. They can help balance the pH levels in your hair and can get rid of bacteria and fungus. Just add 4-5 tbsp lemon juice to 1 cup of water and then after you're done shampooing your hair, run this mixture through your scalp. Leave it on for about ten minutes and then rinse your hair with normal water.

Coconut oil: Coconut oil is rich in moisturising properties and antibacterial properties that can nourish your scalp while also getting rid of infections. Take a cup of coconut oil and warm it up a little. Apply this to your scalp and massage well. Leave it on for about an hour and then shampoo your hair.
