People who have combination skin or oily skin type usually face an issue with their t-zone area on the face. The t-zone is the T-shaped area on our face that consists of the forehead, nose and the chin. These spots usually tend to produce excess oil, blackheads and acne. Proper and regular care is needed to maintain a nourished yet dry t-zone. Also, caring for it will reduce acne, blackheads and oiliness as well. For those who have combination skin, you must separate products for your t-zone and cheeks as it will prevent drying out of cheeks while also clearing up the acne and blackheads in your t-zone. By just including a few products in your usual skincare routine, you can fight all the t-zone problems.

- Always use a cleanser for oily skin. If you're concerned about the production of oil, you will definitely need to use a cleanser which is especially meant for oily skin for the t-zone. A gel or foaming cleanser will work well for reducing the oil and cleaning out the pores.

- You can use a toner once in a day. Apply the toner just on the t-zone as it helps in getting rid of the excess oil and soothes the skin. If your cheeks are oily, you can use a gentle cleanser on it and then dab the t-zone with an anti-acne toner. These toners consist of ingredients like salicylic acid that works well for oily skin. If your skin is too oily, use a toner at least twice a day.

- Use a face mask which is especially targeting the t-zone. Face masking your face at least once a week will keep the acne at bay. It's the best way to handle t-zone troubles. Use a mask that has tea tree, clay and activated charcoal content. If you have combination skin, apply the mask on your t-zone only.

- Use a blotting sheet while you're traveling or at work. You simply have to wipe off the oil on your t-zone with a blotting sheet to remove extra oil. These are a must-have during summers at least.
