Now, that we're right in the middle of the winter season, we're sure even all you fitness enthusiasts are having a hard time stepping outdoors. The days have gotten shorter, the nights longer and the winds are certainly not sparing anyone. It becomes rather difficult to get out of bed let alone opt for any form of physical activity during the winter. But that doesn't mean you should give up on it entirely. So, here are a few tips that will help you stay active this winter season.



Make it a goal to hit the gym: “Once you’re there, the problem is solved. You’re kind of committed to it,” Raglin said. “Once you’ve changed into your gear, once you’ve made the initial step, the rest of it is a lot easier," says an expert.



Sleep in exercise clothes: They're comfy, they're warm and they feel amazing, just like your pyjamas do. When you've already put on your workout gear, you're more likely to hit the gym because that's all that's left to do now. Half your work was done when you got into your gear.



Find a partner or group: When you find someone to work out with, you're a lot more likely to show up because they'll be waiting for you. If you don't, it'll only make you feel embarrassed so you're much more likely to stick to your routine.



Plan in advance: Keep your clothes ready, your gear ready and keep a watchful eye on the weather outside. “If you know what you’re going to have to experience or endure, it doesn’t bother you as much,” says an expert.
