Okay, let's face it. As much as we try to limit our meals to three-four times a day, we all end up eating a lot more than we should. Whether it's munching on snacks between breakfast and lunch at work or grabbing something before dinner or even waking up in the middle of the night to munch on things, we all eat a lot of stuff that we probably shouldn't. What's worse is that whenever you open the fridge for this emergency eating, you end up with foods like chocolates or ice-creams or frozen food.

Isn't that really bad for your health? Instead of trying to limit your food intake, why not just eat healthy things. Here are some healthy foods that you should stock up in your fridge for those weird eating times.

Milk: Milk works really great if you want to drink something before bedtime. It can help you sleep well. If you're not so fond of milk, you could even stock up on some lassi or buttermilk.

Fruits: Fruits make for great healthy snacks. They're full of vitamins and fibres so they'll help your digestion process too. If you're bored of eating one fruit, make a fruit salad or chat and you could also add a few scoops of yoghurt for added taste.

Yoghurt: Since we're talking about yoghurt, it also happens to be a really healthy food to stock up on. Don't opt for packaged yoghurt, instead make your own at home by mixing yoghurt with fruits like berries.

Butter and cheese: Try and stock up on peanut butter and low-fat cheese. Not only are they good for health but they help you feel full too so you're bound to eat less of it.

Energy bars: Energy bars are full of nuts, proteins, nutrients, multi-grains and whatnot. They can help keep you satiated for long. However, ensure that you're not buying ones with excess sugar in them that can really be bad for your health.

Well, stock up on these items and you should be good to go.
