In today's busy world, all people are looking for is to take a break and find some happiness. While there may be many ways to achieve it, why not try compassion? Compassion is described as, "experiencing feelings of loving-kindness toward another person's affliction." This means that when you feel love towards another person, you're also feeling compassion for them. In fact, compassion works so well for the human brain that certain military sectors in the world teach their soldiers to be compassionate so that it can help them in times of high stress.

Researchers have found that compassion can play an important role in coping with certain situations. Compassionate people tend to have more friends and are also more forgiving. Such people also often tend to have clear life goals and purposes. The researchers also said that practising compassion may not just be good for our brain and our health but might also have certain direct benefits. It can help you become happier, healthier, more self-confident, less self-critical, and more resilient.

While it is a given that when someone is rude to you, you hardly feel any compassion towards them, researchers say all you need is some practice. If you practice feeling compassion regularly, while you may not necessarily feel okay about some person being rude to you, it most certainly won't ruin your day or make you feel too bad either.
