We all cry about having dry skin or combination skin or oily skin, but let's be honest, the worst kind of skin type to have is the acne-prone skin type. Forget getting those zits all the time, what's even worse is that they leave behind these awful marks that take ages to fade away. And sometimes, the marks just become permanent.

And it certainly doesn't help that every time we turn on the TV we see models with glowing and beautiful skin. Well, who's to say you can't have skin like that? All you need is the help of some turmeric. That's right, with its amazing antibacterial properties, it is bound to make your skin look gorgeous. Here are some turmeric-based remedies that you can use on your skin.

Turmeric And Neem - For this remedy, you'll need a handful of neem leaves and ¼th tsp of turmeric. Grind the leaves and add the turmeric to it. Mix these two ingredients well to make a thick paste and apply the paste to your skin. Leave it on until it dries and then wash it off with some cold water.

Turmeric And Yoghurt - For this one, you'll need 2 tbsp yoghurt and 1/2 tsp turmeric. Mix these two ingredients together and then apply the paste to your skin. Leave it on for roughly 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off thoroughly with some cold water.

Turmeric And Lemon - For this one, you'll need ½ tsp turmeric and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix these two ingredients together to make a paste. Apply the paste all over your skin and leave it on for about 10 minutes. Rinse it off with some cold water once you're done.

Turmeric And Honey - For this remedy, you'll need 1 tsp turmeric and ½ tsp raw honey. Mix the two ingredients together to form a thick paste. Once done, apply the paste to all the affected areas and let it sit on your face for a good 10-15 minutes. Once done, rinse it off with some cold water.

So, that's how you can put turmeric to good use for your skin. Always remember to do a patch test before using any remedy on your skin. Stay tuned for more updates.
