Vinegar might be an appetising ingredient that most us of use in our cooking but did you know that it also has a ton of properties that can make it work wonders for not just your skin but even your hair? We all want flawless and beautiful skin and hair, but let's be honest; with the amount of pollution and dirt in the environment, it becomes a little difficult to maintain our skin and hair. That's where vinegar steps in. Rich in compounds like citric acid, malic acid, amino acid etc, it plays a rather important part in restoring lustre to your hair and giving you flawless looking skin. Here's how vinegar can help you out with your skin and hair problems.

Can help maintain pH levels: Vinegar is known for maintaining the skin's pH levels and this, in turn, can help get rid of acne, pimples, blemishes, spots and whatnot. Just mix equal parts vinegar with equal parts water and apply the concoction to your skin. Let it dry completely before rinsing it off and you'll have beautiful skin in no time.

Get rid of dandruff: Known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties, vinegar can also play a part in helping restore your scalp's pH levels. This can help get rid of scalp problems like dandruff and fungal infections. Use a mixture of vinegar and water to rinse your hair with, 2-3 times a week and you'll notice the difference.

Works as a toner: Toners are super expensive but people invest in them because they can really help keep your skin looking refreshed. Opt for a vinegar-water mixture instead since it works like a toner anyway.

Helps hair retain moisture: Since vinegar can absorb and retain moisture, applying it to your hair can helo make it look smooth and soft. Apply a mixture of one part of vinegar and two parts of water to your hair (not on the scalp) and let it dry before rinsing it off.

Try these tips and see how well they work. Stay tuned for more updates.
