Here's how yogurt helps improve your immune system

Researchers have been studying the impact of gut bacteria in improving our immune system for quite some time now. And a recent study has shown that good bacteria can help improve the overall quality of the gut and help it stay healthy.



“A significant body of work currently indicates that the microbiota shapes the immune system and helps it to do its job,” said corresponding author Dr. Gretchen Diehl. Yogurt reportedly contains good bacteria that helps the gut stay healthy which in turn improves our immune system. The only way to actually introduce good bacteria into our bodies is through food which is why you should regularly load up on such foods.



So, eat yogurt, drink buttermilk and basically just consume yogurt in any form to help keep your immune system clean and healthy. You can also substitute yogurt for junk food so it will really help your body and could also have potential therapeutic benefits. Stay tuned for more updates.
