We've all had our good hair days and our bad hair days and even some terrible hair days. But this has never stopped us from trying to do what's best for our mane. Despite all our efforts, sometimes our hair just doesn't sit the way we want it to and let's just say, calling it annoying is a huge understatement.

But what if we told you that the problem lies in identifying what hair type you have? For example, you may believe that you have normal hair but it might actually be dry and you might be doing all the wrong things to it because you might be mistaken about what hair type you have. So, here's how you can differentiate between dry hair, normal hair and oily hair.

Dry hair: Often this is because your oil glands do not effectively produce enough oil to help keep your hair in proper condition. In fact, you may notice that if you have dry skin you also likely have dry hair. Here's how you can tell if you have dry hair: there's frizz in your hair all the time, your hair is super rough and is very brittle, you have loads of split ends in your hair.

Normal hair: Blessed are those who have this hair type. People with normal hair types have a scalp that normally restores pH balance and thus prevents anything from happening to the scalp. Some signs that your scalp is healthy and you have normal hair are: your hair isn't prone to frizz, you hardly have any split ends, you have smooth hair with minimal hair loss or any other hair issues, your hair doesn't get oily fast.

Oily hair: It's almost like a curse to have oily hair. If you have oily skin, chances are your scalp is prone to producing excessive oil too. Here are a few signs that you have oily hair: Your hair becomes oily just a day after washing it, your hair constantly feels greasy and falls flat and limp, you suffer from massive hair fall issues.

Well, identify your hair type and start using products and treatments that can help it. Stay tuned for more updates.
