Due to high-stress environments and 24/7 jobs, ageing gracefully is a thing of the past. Even in our twenties, most of us are plagued with skin-related problems we didn't think we would face till a few years down the line - one of the most common being undereye bags. While we can all laugh and joke about it, it's still a skin concern that we don't want to have to permanently live with. Whether due to poor sleeping and eating habits, water retention and general carelessness towards the undereye area, we're done waking up in a panic over puffy eyes.

Wake up with coffee grounds
While we definitely know caffeine is good for waking us up from the inside, did you know it was just as good at waking up our skin too? A great trick to getting rid of your dreaded undereye puffiness in a jiffy is gently massaging some coffee grounds under the eyes. Its antioxidant properties cause it to reduce the swelling by shrinking the blood vessels in the area.

Or black or green tea bags
Similarly, the antioxidants in these two beneficial hot beverages too help to reduce the puffiness that often plagues our undereye area. Just dip two tea bags into hot water, let them cool and then place them on your swollen eye area.

Try some milk
This one may sound slightly more out there than the others, but milk is known as a fairly popular natural beauty ingredient. To use milk to get rid of your undereye bags though, dip two cotton pads in cold milk and then place them over your eyes for at least 20 to 30 minutes.

Be regular with undereye creams and masks
Knowing how irregular our sleeping patterns are, we can't be surprised at these effects it has on our skin anymore. So a good way of keeping the area under our eyes swelling-free is to every now and then use a specialised eye mask or match for the area. And an undereye cream should be part of our beauty routine even if we're in our twenties.
