Bored of the gym? Rebounding may be the answer for you. It is the new workout that has gained a lot of popularity because it is a whole lot of fun and helps to tone your body.

The workout involves you doing a fitness routine while bouncing on a trampoline. Rebounding classes have become espcially popular in the UK.m53-year-old Leigh Cronin, who has arthritis, says this form of exercise has loads of benefits for everyone."Somebody recommended I try Bounce – because it’s really good on the joints,’ Leigh told a news portal. Adding, "I came along to the class and for the first time in my life, I felt like I loved exercise."

After taking up rebounding, Leigh says it has transformed her life in so many ways. "It has helped me massively. In every way. "My arthritis is really good at the moment. My legs are a lot stronger and I have so much more energy. If I don’t come for a few days I feel absolutely lost. I think it’s a good way of exercising because it’s fun, there’s no high-impact on the joints, anybody, at any age can do this. It just makes you feel young. Honestly – I feel ten years younger," she told a news portal.

Just 20 minutes of bouncing at a moderate level of intensity can help improve your fitness, as well as improve your heart health. A study conducted in 2016 found rebounding exercises improved aerobic fitness and helped the body burn more fat than running. It also increased the chances of being able to do vertical jumping.

Here are someof the benefits:
- May improve your health and
- Helps to strengthen your musculoskeletal systems
- Improves endurance
- Improves balance
- Helps to strengthen your core

“In addition to the benefits of traditional exercises, rebounding promotes the body’s natural detox processes, helps drain lymph and promotes balance by working the body’s proprioceptors” Lisa Raleigh, a rebounding instructor, told a news portal.

To do this workout, you'll need a mini-trampoline. You can do it in the comfort of your home or join a class. It may even benefit people who have just recovered from an injury. If you are not into the gym or just looking to switch up your routine, give rebounding a try.
