If you call yourself to have social anxiety without knowing what it actually is, then you're doing it all wrong. Social anxiety is not just feeling shy around people or not wanting to step in a room full of people. But it is much more than that. And people tend to not know how to deal with it, so we're here to guide you through it all.

First things first, here's what Social Anxiety Disorder actually is:
- People who suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder face a really hard time making friends, finding work, maintaining relationships, building a career and basically talking to people in general. Not just that, but they even find it hard to get through usual days. People who have this disorder suffer from fear, self-consciousness and discomfort when they're put in a situation that otherwise is completely normal to other people.

Here's how to overcome Social Anxiety Disorder:
-No matter how hard it is, there's always a solution for this disorder. And once you get out of it, you'll start feeling much lighter, better and happier. All you have to do is make that effort to fight the problem.
- Find social situations where you can actually interact with people. Go to as many social events you can as possible. It doesn't come easy, but that's how you take it as a challenge and overcome the fears. you can also join some classes or make plans with your friends and family where you can get the time and space to interact more often.
- Act confidently even when you feel shy. Small steps are still counted as stepping forward. Once you start acting confidently, people around you will react positively too. It might feel terrible in the beginning but gradually, it will only work wonders for you. Being socially confident will only make you love yourself more and more.
- Practicing social skills like making eye contacts, complimenting someone, remembering names and learning how to make introductions will greatly help you. Improve on your public speaking skills and try to engage as much as you can.
- Another way to get rid of social anxiety is to share your experiences with people around you. This will get you people who can help you be a better version of yourself for yourself. Sharing your experiences will also make you feel a lot better and comfortable.
- It is very important to get help when you know your social anxiety disorder is getting worse. Estimations say that 1/3rd of the crowd suffering from social anxiety take over 10 years to just speak to a professional or even talk about their problem in general. The sooner you talk about it, the sooner you get help in solving your problem.
