Linden tea could help reduce blood pressure levels because it contains plant components, like tiliroside, rutoside, and chlorogenic acid, that could help manage the condition. A study conducted on mice found an antioxidant in linden tea, tiliroside, has an impact on the calcium channels in the heart. Calcium plays a major role in the heart’s muscular contractions. When various doses of tiliroside were injected into the mice, it reduces blood pressure levels. Consult with your doctor before you try this tea. It is also important to note that heart medications should not be replaced with linden tea.
