* Use quality beauty products: Chances are you are going to be in party mode throughout the day. That means you need to invest in long-lasting quality ingredients. While you dance the night away, make sure you apply a face primer that improves your skin's texture and won't cause any irritation.

* Foundation: Choose a foundation that blends well and offers medium coverage. Make sure the foundation your using conceals any imperfections and gives you a flawless base.

* Go bold: A grand occasion is a perfect time to experiment with bold looks. Play with fun and out their eyeshadow shades and colourful lipsticks you wouldn't ordinarily try. If you try a bold lipstick colour, keep the rest of your makeup simple. However, if you are going for a dramatic look, go bold with your eye makeup and go easy with the rest of your look.

* Glow: To achieve that radian glow, use a powder highlighter. Keep in mind that less is more when using this product as a little goes a long way.
