While it’s great to step out for dinner once in a while, it's also great to come up with some great recipes for those house parties you throw. For your next one, we've got a very special recipe by Vidhi Doshi a.k.a @RamenHairedGirl for Chinese noodle stuffed samosas. Check it out here.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Maida

1/4 cup whole wheat flour

2 tbsp ghee

Salt to taste

1 tbsp oil

1 tbsp finely chopped garlic

1/4 tsp grated ginger

1 finely chopped green chilly

1/4 cup finely chopped spring onion whites

1/3 cup finely chopped carrot

1/3 cup finely chopped cabbage

1/3 cup finely chopped capsicum

2 1/2 tbsp Schezwan sauce

1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tsp vinegar

2 tsp ketchup

1/2 tsp sugar

1 1/4 cup boiled and chopped noodles

1/4 cup spring onion greens

oil for deep frying

Recipe:

In a 'thaal' combine some maida, whole wheat flour, ghee and salt together and mix well. Add water accordingly and knead it into a soft dough. Cover the mixture and let it set for about 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan, add some garlic, ginger and chilli, sauté for 1 minute. Add the spring onions, carrot, cabbage, capsicum and salt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. dd the Schezwan sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup, sugar, mix well and cook for a minute. Add the boiled noodles and mix everything well.

Turn off the flame once everything has been mixed and then add the spring onion greens and mix again. Let it cool. Divide the kneaded dough, roll out each portion into a circle. Then divide into two equal semi-circles. Fold one semicircle, sealing the straight edge to form a cone. Stuff the filling in the cone, leaving 1/2 cm edge on the top. Seal both sides together to form a triangular samosa. Heat the oil well in a pan and fry the samosas until they're reddish brown and crispy. Serve with a dip of your choice.
