MLA Lalan Paswan: "How can you say something bad happened to her? Where was the blood coming from?"
In the light of the recent atrocities against women, here is yet another incident that has put the country to shame. Hajipur RLSP MLA Lalan Paswan recently asked insensitive questions to the friend of a minor rape victim and is being called out for the same.

Lalan was caught on camera as he asked the rape victim's friend appalling questions about the incident and made the minors recount their friend's horror. Lalan visited the government girls hostel in Hajipur and interrogated a student whose friend's body was found dead on January 8, Sunday. Lalan asked the girl - "How can you say something bad happened to her? Where was the blood coming from?" He put forth such questions in front of numerous people, which furthermore embarrassed the girl.

The girl's ordeal didn't end there. Lalan Paswan further went on to question her, and asked, "You say something bad happened to her. Where was the blood coming from? You are an educated girl, you should tell clearly what you know. What will you do tomorrow if something of that sort happens to you?" All this was caught on the camera even as the girl looked visibly uncomfortable with the questions put forth by the MLA.
