Mojo's Bistro owner Yug Tulli surrenders to the police following the Kamala Mills tragedy

The Kamala Mills fire tragedy shook the entire city of Mumbai. An entire building in the Kamala Mills compound was burned to a crisp on the night of December 29, 2017, after a fire spread through two restaurants, Mojo's Bistro and 1 Above. The restaurants were located on the rooftop of the building. The fire also led to the deaths of 14 people while several others were injured. The owners of 1 Above, Kripesh Sanghvi, Jigar Sanghvi, Abhijeet Mankar were arrested by Mumbai Police after 2 weeks. But the owners of Mojo's Bistro were absconding.

Now, there are reports that the owner of Mojo's Bistro, Yug Tulli has surrendered to the police. Yug Pathak who is also the owner of the restaurant had been arrested earlier. As of now, a total seven people have been arrested. According to the BMC, the fire had reportedly started because of the provision of smoking hookah and cigarette illegally inside the premises. There were also major safety rules and regulations that had not been kept in check by the restaurant owners. Stay tuned for more updates.
